The different types of capybaras
The story of the DLC of Disney Dreamlight Valley starts at Ancient portbut be aware that you will need to visit other biomes to follow the expansion pass narrative A Rift in Time. These new areas contain resources of their own, such as Plant, mineralsAnd items lost over time which you will use to cook and make objects. You will also be able to meet critters different depending on where you are, such as the monkeys of the Ancient Port who will be the first animals to welcome you, but also capybaras which you can find in the Wild meanders. It exists 7 types of capybaras at present, but alone 6 of them can be encountered in-game, the seventh being the subject of a gift for people who have purchased Disney Dreamlight Valley when it was still in Early Access. Once you have unlocked the Wild meanders, you may come across the different capybaras listed above. The first thing to do to approach them is to bring their favorite food: the cabbage. All capuybaras love cabbage, so you will only need this ingredient to tame them, no matter their color. You can buy cabbage seeds at the stall Dingo of the Wild meanders. If you don't have cabbage on hand, capybaras also eat bamboo. You will find them on the floor of the different areas of the Wild meanders.
Once you have harvested what you need, simply to be near the capybaras to interact with them. Contrary to cobras which must be approached delicately, you will be able to tame them quickly following the instructions below:

- Give him cabbage
This done, the capybara will give you a gift. Most often, he will offer you a dream shinebut it can occasionally give you a memory if you give him his favorite food. If you want to make capybara your companionyou will have to feed it several times to unlock it, then assign it to your character from the tab Companion from the menu Wardrobe.
