Helldivers 2 creates a huge hype straight away with its insect shooting gallery parody mix. It draws inspiration from the Starship Troopers brand, which has a competing product on the market called Extermination. Bitter comparison: The licensed co-op shooter is increasingly losing attention despite the new update.

One of the most important building game releases since Anno 1800 and a huge hit on Steam: With Manor Lords, solo developer Slavic Magic has covered itself with a lot of fame. The trailer above marks the early access release.

And the video fits the tone of the game surprisingly well, because the same applies here: self-confident modesty. The video leaves out any gimmickry and simply shows a Manor Lords that speaks for itself. And we think we hear it said: I am a medieval city building game.

Anyone who has already finished the Fallout series may feel a certain emptiness. They could fill total conversions like Fallout: Miami, if only there was a release date in sight somewhere.

The trailer doesn't provide any hard numbers, but it makes Fallout: Miami fans' mouths water. And that's saying something in the Florida heat. In the meantime, you can bring Fallout 4 into 2024 with mods.

At the top, SteamDB has 16,000 users for Extermination, while the previously little-known brand for Helldivers 2 has over 450,000. Helldivers takes a lot of inspiration from Starship Troopers.

There are just a few hundred players currently playing Starship Troopers. Extermination in Early Access is also constantly evolving. The trailer above chases you through bug-infested deserts and highlights the big Vanguard update, which, among other things, introduces a class system as well as new weapons and abilities.
