Over the years, the Inazuma Eleven license has positioned itself as number 1 in the soccer RPG genre. With games on Nintendo DS that charmed both Japan and the West, it attracted hundreds of thousands of players. But after 11 years of absence, fans only wanted one thing: the release of the future game announced since 2016. Here it is in a free demo on Nintendo Switch for the happiness of the entire community.

What is Inazuma eleven?

As said previously, Inazuma Eleven is basically a football video game released in 2008 which was a hit in Japan. Although some doubt it, it was later adapted into an anime and manga, each of which had its popularity in Asia. The series was then exported to the West in 2011 and had some success, with 400,000 copies sold around the world for the first opus. The game is oriented towards a soccer RPG where strategy is at the center of the title. By using special techniques and tactics, players can gain an advantage over their opponents and thus win the match. Many choices are available to you during encounters to win duels. You will have understood, you must use everything that the game offers to win your matches. Long awaited, the demo of the latest game in the license, Inazuma Eleven Victory Road, is finally available and it already brings together many players.

A demo like no other

With this demo, the Inazuma franchise completely reinvents its gameplay. On the one hand, this new iteration abandons the touch mode (only for the demo) and the camera is positioned behind the character. Despite the little content available (only solo and online matches) the gameplay is very rich and dense. Indeed, during the first clashes, the numerous tutorials can lose some people and all the interfaces displayed on the screen can make you dizzy. But even if the content is quite weak, many rewards, teams, and difficulty levels are to be unlocked and will require dozens of hours of play for the quickest among you.

What else ?

However, the demo is not complete and a lot of content is to be expected. The arrival of the story mode will take place in a few weeks where players will be able to test the first chapter. More than 30 minutes of cutscenes are expected, with new characters and new techniques. In addition, don't panic for those who don't own a Switch, because cross-play is coming very soon to PS5 and PC. A video gallery system will also be made available to players to watch the different cutscenes seen during the story.
