Jaws: From February 12th on Amazon Prime Video

After “Jaws” Spielberg essentially received a kind of free pass in Hollywood and was able to choose his projects from then on. In the years that followed, other classics followed such as: “Close Encounters of the Third Kind”, “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “ET – The Extra-Terrestrial”.

Even though many people know the film, not everyone has seen “Jaws”. It is currently nowhere to be seen in a streaming flat rate, only for a rental fee or for purchase. This will change now February 12, 2024, because then “Jaws” ends up on Amazon Prime Video. In just a few days, Prime members no longer have to pay anything extra for the film and can enjoy the classic virtually for free (watch on Amazon Prime Video).

Original quote from the classic trailer – “Watch this movie before you go swimming.”:

For the Contents We don't have to say anything, do we? For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned again that a man-eating great white shark is haunting a beach resort on a holiday island on the east coast of the USA and is literally snapping. A fun film that, then as now, triggers lasting primal fears, even if they are unfounded. Finally, shark attacks are extremely rare.
