Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has just given a new meeting to players for a very big event that will make people happy. But you will have to take advantage of it very quickly, as is often the case.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet spoils us again! After offering us an event allowing us to catch Fungus Fury and Iron Palm, the latest games in the franchise are preparing to send us hordes of pokemon for an entire weekend. This time, it's not two, but six creatures that must be collected as quickly as possible! In addition, this is a new chance for you to collect shiny creatures, so catch them all!

Lots of pokemons in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
A new meeting has just been launched by Pokemon Ecarlate & Violet. A new mass epidemic is coming soon. Concretely, this term is used to designate an unusual grouping of several Pokémon in a horde. In other words, the little monsters will appear in packs of 10 and will especially increase your chances of obtaining extremely rare pokemon, the famous shiny ones. And this time, we're doing it big with no less than 6 different Pokémon, all babies. They will also have a very specific distribution between each region:
- Paldea: Pichu and Ptiravi.
- Septentria: Goinfrex and Riolu.
- the Blueberry Institute: Magby and Élekid
As you will have noticed, this means that you will need to have the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC to have access to the full event and therefore to the Blueberry Institute and Septentria regions. On your map, question marks will indicate these groupings. As usual, the event will be of ultra-limited duration since it will only take place between March 29 and March 31this weekend therefore.
It's also more shiny
It's mathematical: the more you come across a pokemon, the more likely you are to find its shiny variant, a rarer version of a creature marked by a particular color. The chance of seeing one is 1 in 4096. But if you follow certain procedures, it can go down to 1 in 1365. To do this, you just have to be patient and make several trips back and forth in the encounter zone to defeat more than 60 monsters. To put it simply: the more you defeat, the more your chances increase. The hordes of Pokemon Scarlet & Purple are therefore a great way to easily get your hands on one of these extremely rare creatures. However, remember to equip yourself well before leaving and to scrupulously follow the most effective methods for hunting, since although this type of event drastically increases your chances, it does not guarantee them.
