Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 announced in July for Nintendo Switch

The Japanese tradition continues.

Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 will launch for PlayStation 4 and Switch on Nintendo July 18 in Japan for 7,700 yen (8,470 yen with tax). Pre-orders for the physical edition are now available. A digital-only “Powerful Edition” will also be available for 9,700 yen (10,670 yen with tax), which includes 305 additional music tracks from previous Powerful Pro Baseball titles, as well as the Osaka Toin marching band's version of the opening theme song.

As in previous years, the PlayStation 4 version will support PlayStation VR and the Switch version will support amiibo. Both versions will be playable in local multiplayer for up to four players and online multiplayer for up to two players.

Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 will feature a new practice mode called “Showdown!” Legend Battle,” which features Konami baseball games ambassador Shohei Ohtani and others. As for existing modes, fans of the franchise can expect “Success”, “Eikan Nine” and “Power Fes”, all of which have been improved. Finally, a mode will allow you to discover the history of the Powerful Pro series and professional baseball.

“12 Professional Baseball Teams” was a popular storyline in Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball 2010's Achievement Mode. Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025 revives this storyline via a full remake that uses the original storyline as a base, but with additional characters, events, and more.

Penant mode, a main pillar, is getting stronger! Play with past teams Hankyu, Nankai and Kintetsu

Penant mode has been strengthened! In addition to more than 400 legendary former players from previous generations, the most ever seen in a Powerful Pro Baseball game, and 12 legendary teams that transcend the boundaries of time, players can also use the former teams of the Hankyu Braves, Hawks of Nankai, and the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes.

Additionally, the now-closed stadiums in Nishinomiya and Osaka will be revived through Powerful Pro Baseball 2024-2025. Enjoy Penant mode while feeling the history of Japanese professional baseball!
