Hey Xbox Insiders! Today we're releasing a new Xbox Preview update for Alpha Party members.

The update is available now, and you will find below the complete patch note with details of the new features, as well as its fixes.

As usual, affected members are invited to provide feedback to improve these different features before their final deployment.

New features

Wireless network management

If you're used to connecting your Xbox console to multiple wireless networks, we have good news for you! Network settings now allow users to remember up to 10 password-protected wireless networks. To get started, go to Settings > General > Network Settings > Manage wireless networks.

To remember your current wireless network, first log out or set up a wireless network, then choose your network again from the list. You will see a new option allowing you to remember the network when entering your password. Once you have remembered some wireless networks, you can return to Manage Wireless Networks and select Manage Remembered Wireless Networks to enable or forget them.

Search – People

Today, a random subset of users will be able to search for people directly from the search experience in Home or the guide. To test this feature, start by searching for a Gamertag, then navigate to the new People tab.

Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta)

Starting today, Xbox Insiders can now manage their game saves and storage for titles streamed via supported browsers and Samsung Smart TVs.

Access to cloud game storage management:

  1. To open cloud game storage management: Go to xbox.com/play and sign in with your Microsoft account.
  2. Select the Settings icon.
  3. Select the Manage Games tab.
  4. You will see a list of all the games you have played via cloud gaming in the last 30 days. If the list is empty or you don't see the game title you're looking for, launch that game, exit it and wait 1-2 minutes, then return to the Manage Games tab to view a new list of game titles. games.
  5. Select a game title to view saves and storage items associated with that game.

Managing game saves:

Re-sync game saves with the Xbox network syncs your device with cloud game saves. If you try to resync your game saves and nothing happens, check to see if a network outage is preventing the sync.

Removing the placeholder refers to the space used by the game title to store data other than game saves (including mods, videos, logs, etc.). Removing the placeholder does not affect your game saves, but may slightly affect your gaming experience depending on the title.

Delete game saves refers to the save files of this game. This operation completely deletes the game's save data on all platforms.
