Furthermore, progressing with different companies to become a legend gives access to cosmetic items and titles.

Each faction has its most interesting quests to progress quickly. If for Gold Collectors, hunting for chests is the most effective (buried treasure, treasure cache), for the Order of Souls, ghost ship battles are among the best choices. As for the Merchant Alliance, it's better to bet on lost cargo. Generally, taking a trip to Devil's Roar to accomplish various objectives is a good way to boost your reputation. But be careful, the area is very dangerous and fireballs fall from the sky (literally) during volcanic eruptions. The rewards in XP are nevertheless worth the risk involved. The weekly, monthly and seasonal trials (visible in the pirate journal) are also important for earning a nice amount of fame.

An emissary you will become

The best reflex to boost your reputation is obviously to become an emissary for a company. Once the license is in hand, you must vote to become an emissary in the places provided for this purpose (inside the outposts). When you navigate/complete challenges as an Emissary, you gain rank. The higher your rank, the more reputation (and gold) you get when you make the delivery. It is therefore advantageous to keep the loot on board until you reach a higher rank, in order to maximize the rewards. The little advice is to reach grade 5 by carrying out missions, sell the loot, collect the emissary quests given as rewards, lower the emissary's flag then raise it, and start the operation again (reach grade 5 , this time with the emissary's travels).

Skip stages with legendary pirates and Larinna

Other tips exist to earn a lot of XP. If sometimes you manage to form a team with a legendary pirate and he invites you to do an Athena's Fortune mission, accept! Legendary pirates have access to dedicated Athena's Fortune missions that provide particularly rare loot. Not only will the promotions continue, but the diversity of objects to find means that you will earn XP from all SoT companies. You can also skip a few steps by spending your doubloons to recover letters of recommendation at Larinna (an NPC who is in front of the taverns). When the player obtains one, he gains a level with the targeted company. Please note, however, that these letters are limited to one per month and per faction.

XP in 15 minutes flat

For 100% solo players who only have 15 minutes to spare and who still want to grind, our advice is to go to sea in search of wrecks. You will find their location by the seagulls circling in the sky above the wind-up chests. We generally find them near the outposts (which is practical for a quick game), and there are regularly good surprises in the holds of these boats lost underwater. We haven't specified it, but it is obviously essential to go to the High Seas in order to benefit from maximum rewards.

Last advice : to gain a lot of reputation in record time, the most effective remains participation in community days/weekends, organized from time to time by Rare, since they provide a significant boost in XP.

Reputation and gold, same fight!

In Sea of ​​Thieves, gold and reputation are linked. This means that the tips given for gaining maximum XP that you will find in the first paragraph apply here too : go to the High Seas, be part of the emissaries, visit the Devil's Roar, take care of wrecks, participate in world events if you are in a team, benefit from a boost by participating in community days/weekends. Hunting for gold collectors' vaults, mermaid loot and buried cargo is also recommended. If you have a few doubloons, you can also go see Larinna and offer to exchange 50 doubloons for 10,000 gold coins. This purchase can be extremely lucrative if you do it on a day when Rare brings a win multiplier.

Where to get duplicates in Sea of ​​Thieves?

Doubloons are a special currency in Sea of ​​Thieves that are used to purchase certain types of content, such as skins, commendations, and gold.
