Arrowhead Game Studios has released a new patch for “Helldivers 2” that makes numerous balancing changes and has a few surprises in store.

Without much announcement, an extensive and interesting update is now available “Helldivers 2” available for download, which is worth a closer look for several reasons. With the multitude of adjustments, the main focus is on balancing the weapons.
What does the new patch change?
Who in the incredibly popular third-person shooter “Helldivers 2” If you've already put together an arsenal of favorite weapons, you may need to reconsider. The developers at Arrowhead Game Studios have: a variety of ratchets or their values revised.
These changes are likely to have an impact in the fight against the deadly Terminids. For example, the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon now has a longer reload time of five seconds. The CB-9 crossbow also feels a little different after installing the patch, mainly due to its reduced explosions and the smaller magazine.
The AX/AR-23 Guard Dog is also noticeably weakened after installing the latest update for “Helldivers 2”. It now causes 30 percent less damage, which means a pretty serious nerf. The LAS-5 Scythe, on the other hand, has become noticeably better, now causing 350 damage points instead of just 300. The update also includes a variety of bug fixes, optimizations and comfort adjustments. The full patch notes can be found here.
What's next for Helldivers 2?
This was almost certainly not the last patch for Helldivers 2. The development team Arrowhead Game Studios is working hard on further updates that would both fix further bugs and add new content and features.
After all, the studio had only recently set itself the ambitious goal of creating an incredibly popular third-person shooter to become the “best live service game” ever.
