Helldivers 2: Dataminers find a new vehicle for the action hit

The action hit Helldivers 2 is still on everyone's lips. Accordingly, fans are craving new content – and a new vehicle may now be on its way into the game.

After Palworld, Helldivers 2 has become the second hype title of 2024 and continues to be extremely popular. Accordingly, the numerous fans are of course hoping for further content and new functions in the title, which is currently available exclusively for PC and PlayStation 5. Above all, the vehicles are very popular – and something could really happen on this front in the near future.

Reason for this is the discovery of a data miner who found an image of a fresh vehicle in the files of the co-op shooter. This is a transport vehicle for the Super Earth Armed Forces, which could soon find its way into the title.

Although the vehicle can be found via an image in the game files, according to the data miner, there is currently no version of the vehicle that can be interacted with yet. However, mobile capacities and placeholder animations are assigned as properties to the model, so Arrowhead Studios may have already completed at least the basic work.

At the same time, this is not the first such leak in which data miners find new vehicles for Helldivers 2. Before the arrival of the Patriot Exosuits, a not yet final version of the recon vehicle was spotted – also an ATV transporter. However, there are some differences between the Recon and the Colony Rover. The former is modeled on a buggy, can transport three players and also has a gun turret. The Colony Rover, on the other hand, is larger, completely enclosed and appears to have no visible weaponry. It remains to be seen whether and when the vehicle will actually make it into the game.
