You bought a game in the store, at home you unpacked the DVD (sometimes even several!), inserted it into the drive that all PCs still had back then… and then it installed itself. Just like that. What is still somewhat normal on the console is now a thing of the past on the home computer – right?!

The Gothic Remake ignores the fact that hardly any PC has an integrated DVD drive anymore and packs a physical disc into it Collector's Edition. Great news for anyone who values ​​actually owning a game after purchasing it! And of course there are more goodies, we have all the information. The contents of the Collector's Edition may well tempt some die-hard Minental fans:

• The game on DVD and as a download code
• A sleeper mask (34×24 centimeters) as a wall decoration
• A bracelet made of genuine leather
• A notebook with a genuine leather cover
• The original soundtrack

You decide whether you want the game for PC, Xbox Series X or PS5. And yes, we specifically asked THQ Nordic, the DVD is actually also available for PC. However, you should be prepared that you will still have to update the game via Steam if a Day 1 patch is released. That's why you'll also find a game code in the pack.

A very rare sight in times when publishers are allowed to delete purchased digital games from your library because you never actually owned them. There is currently even a petition running against it.

How much is it? The Collector's Edition costs 199 euros and is comparatively not too expensive considering that the game itself is also included.

Where can I buy this? Pre-order is available from April 25th THQ Nordic possible, or via Amazon. At the moment only the PS5 version is available on Amazon.fr, but that should change shortly. The Collector's Edition is limited to 7,500 pieces.
