Always more games in the catalog!

It's been almost two years since Sony merged its PS Plus with its PS Now in order to offer several subscription plans giving access to different benefits. Since June 2022, PlayStation Plus has three plans to which users can subscribe: the Essential (the classic PS Plus offer with online play and software included each month), the Extra (the contributions of the 'Essential with additional access to a catalog of 400 PS4 and PS5 games) and finally Premium (the advantages of Essential and Extra, with the possibility of playing PS One, PS2, PS3, PSP).

Like Game Pass, there are new games arriving in the catalog, and other titles leaving the service. But unlike the Microsoft service which bases a large part of its argument on the availability of the new AAA from its studios on day one, Sony is mainly targeting lovers of the old PlayStation glories with its PS Plus Premium.
