The other day, after the acquisition of “Gearbox Entertainment” by Take-Two Interactive, it was decided that “Gearbox Publishing”, a publishing label under the former Gearbox business group, would remain in Embracer Group and change its name. ” announced a name change and revealed that it has been rebranded to “Arc Games,” a name that is closer to the origin of its original parent company, “Perfect World Entertainment.” (* “Arc” was originally the name of the publishing label and unique digital platform operated by Perfect World from 2007 to the mid-2010s, and in conjunction with this rebrand/revival, the company has inherited the original logo. )
“Arc Games” works include the “Torchlight” series, “Have a Nice Death”, “Remnant” series, Cryptic’s “Star Trek Online” and “Neverwinter”, “Champions Online”, “Hob” and other familiar works. In addition to the titles, the highly anticipated “Hyper Light Breaker” and the surprise comeback “Gigantic: Rampage Edition” are scheduled to be released in the future. A new trailer is scheduled to be unveiled.

Gunfire Games designer Ben Cureton also mentioned this rebrand and clarified that the change in publisher name will not affect development. “Remnant” originally experienced a company name change from Perfect World Entertainment to Gearbox Publishing, and they emphasize that this is just a name change and that the publishing team itself remains the same from the first generation.
