Only four months left until Gamescom 2024: So far there is little information about which exhibitors are taking part in Cologne.
The game manufacturers are not yet venturing out of cover – at least officially. But one thing can already be spoiled at this point: Gamescom 2024 is gradually taking shape and shape. Because behind the scenes, planning and preparations have long been underway among publishers, studios, exhibition stand builders and service providers so that construction can begin on time in mid-August.
A number of exhibitors have taken advantage of the discounted conditions of the early bird phase: According to its own information, Koelnmesse is recording significantly more registrations and booked space – the values are even said to be higher than the record year of 2019. However, it is not clear from the information whether this applies 'only' to the trade visitor area (i.e. the business area) or also to the private visitor halls.
As always, there are no guarantees. As the THQ Nordic example showed last year, opposing internal developments can lead to trade fair appearances being stopped at the last minute or being smaller. Conversely, exhibitors often decide to participate or sponsor at a very late stage – because this is the basic requirement for taking part in the opening show Gamescom: Opening Night Live.

The organizers traditionally only communicate the official list of exhibitors a few weeks before the start of Gamescom. In the case of Gamescom 2023, the announcement came in mid-July.
In order to make planning easier for our readers (also with regard to ticket purchases and hotel bookings), GamesWirtschaft will once again use all connections to the industry in the run-up to Gamescom 2024 and strive to obtain advance information. As soon as acceptances or rejections become apparent, this list will be updated.
