Accelerate innovation and transformation : this has been the ambition of Viva Technology since 2016. Each year, the Parisian show brings together more than a hundred tech players – startups, private and public companies, or even investors – to present the technologies of tomorrow, but also discuss the latest trends and their influence on our society.

One show, more than 120 countries

The 8th edition of VivaTech is on the horizon, and this one has an even more international dimension. And for good reason, no less than 120 countries in Europe, Asia, America and Africa are announced, including Japan named “Country of the Year”. The Japanese Archipelago will present its tech ecosystem through a delegation of institutions, businesses and startups.

Wider, 2500 startups, 2000 international investors, as well as 350 companies and organizations, are expected within the Paris Porte de Versailles exhibition center. And all sectors of activity are represented, whether automotive, health, information or finance. In short, everything that makes and will make the world go round in the years to come.

Towards a sustainable, intelligent and mobile future

In addition to presenting products and technologies likely to revolutionize our daily lives, conferences and round tables will also punctuate the four days of the show. Three strong themes emerge more particularly from this 8th edition:

Artificial Intelligence

According to the recent VivaTech barometer, 88% of business leaders plan to invest in artificial intelligence in the years to come. It is therefore no surprise that AI will occupy a prominent place at the show, through the presence of major players in the sector and demos of new intelligent technologies. A space dedicated to innovations using artificial intelligence, called AI Mile, has also been specially designed for the event.

Sustainable tech

In a world threatened by climate change, does technology have a role to play? According to the Vivatech barometer, 93% of American and European companies surveyed answered “yes”. It is in this context that “Sustainable tech” was born, the objective of which is to use technology to face the ecological challenges of tomorrow.. Many speakers from the sector will discuss solutions and innovations capable of making our daily lives better (improvement of air quality, production of non-polluting energy, etc.).

The mobility of tomorrow

Strongly influenced by AI and Sustainable tech, the mobility sector will also be in the spotlight, notably through a first partnership with Tesla, whose ecosystem will be presented in a dedicated space. Other brands responded such as Peugeot / Stellantis whose visitors will discover the “Inception” concept car and the disruptive “Hypersquare” technology. Without forgetting a first glimpse of the airport of the future through an intervention by Groupe ADP.
