Palworld has just revealed its first “real” update and its new generation of Pals who have nothing to envy of Pokémon. Tons of new features, including a unique zone, are expected.
The “Pokémon with Guns” game, called Palworld, already has a lot of promise to its credit, including the upcoming addition of a new PvP mode. Apart from that, the app continues to be in the spotlight thanks to the regular addition of content. However, it is also criticized for its similarities to Nintendo's Creatures. Moreover, only a few days ago, a Pal named Foxicle had attracted attention. He looked a lot like a mix of Frosty and Ninetales (Alola version). We also take the liberty of mentioning that a commission of inquiry was launched by Nintendo in January to investigate these famous copies. However, Pocket Pair will not wait for the results of these investigations to reveal new creatures in what should be the real first update.

New Pokemon in Palworld?
In a new trailer revealed during the last Xbox ID, PocketPair officially announced the arrival of an update as well as four new Pals. Unfortunately, we don't know their names; we will therefore have to content ourselves with their descriptions. There we will find a black belt frog, a crane (or an ostrich depending on the interpretations), a samurai rabbit and a dinosaur with a mushroom hat. This time around, no obvious resemblance to Pokémon was observed. However, Internet users having become teasing and very attentive, some “inspirations” were noticed. We can cite Favianos, Amphinobi or even Chapignon. Overall, this Palworld trailer doesn't provide much information.
However, we were able to see a brief glimpse of a new island. It is clear that it will be inspired by Japan, since we see cherry blossoms, toriis etc. there. The rabbit particularly echoes this region with its ninja or samurai look. Additionally, we see a swampy area filled with oversized mushrooms. As for weapons, the developers have revealed a flamethrower and a futuristic rifle. That's all for now, but it's certain that this update will be talked about again. In any case, it should be deployed by summer 2024.
The Arena update is coming
We told you this in advance, but another update is eagerly awaited: the Arena update. This will arrive sometime in 2024 and promises the introduction of PvP combat. From the few images that we have been able to see, we have discovered an arena system, with, we hope, rankings and rewards to boot. We don't know more, so let's be patient. In any case, plagiarism or no plagiarism, Palworld seems to have a bright future ahead of it!
