However, an exact date has not yet been announced (view it now on Steam).

REDkit, the tool used by the game's developers, offers “almost limitless freedom when modding.” Create new quests, characters, animations and more to make the game “even more exciting and fun for everyone,” according to the developer and publisher.

CD Projekt RED emphasizes that REDkit currently only for PC users is available, both for creating and installing the created mods.

Fans are waiting for The Witcher 4

The Witcher 3 was released in 2015, so it's a bit older. Thanks to various expansions and now the official mod editor, the game is constantly being given new life, but fans are still eagerly awaiting the sequel.

However, not much is known about this yet. The game is created in collaboration with Epic Games using the UnrealEngine5which provides new and expanded possibilities – but it may still be years before The Witcher 4 sees the light of day.
