PlayStation surprises PS Plus Extra & Premium subscribers by revealing the first games for May 2024 in advance. These are two titles from a well-known French publisher.
PS Plus Essential games will be available in the coming hours on PS5 and PS4. And for once, the Japanese manufacturer is really pulling out all the stops with recent software. Subscribers will be able to recover the EA Sports FC 24 simulation in standard edition, Destiny 2 Eclipse, Ghostrunner 2 or even Tunic. Productions different in scale, but which are each sure values in their field. In a few days, the PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium line-up will also be made official. But here are already two new entries in the service.

First two games for PS Plus Extra and Premium from May 2024
Like every month, the PS Plus Extra & Premium plans will renew the catalog of games “offered” to subscribers. We should be scheduled around May 15, but part of the line-up has already been revealed in preview. Do you like Ubi productions? This new batch will indeed welcome two releases from the French publisher, including one that is still very fresh: The Settlers New Allies. A real-time strategy game which is similar to Age of Empires, but which has a rather complicated beginning. The Metacritic score is only 54/100 for the press and it even drops to 3.3/10 for player reviews. On the other hand, the PS Plus Extra in May 2024 will perhaps bring more people together around Watch Dogs. One of the last original licenses from Ubisoft which was rather well received.
Watch Dogs
Watch Dogs will join PS Plus Extra & Premium from May 2024, but not directly. The game will be distributed via the Ubisoft+ Classics subscription which allows you to discover titles from the publisher such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege, Watch Dogs Legion etc. This first episode takes place in the city of Chicago and allows players to embody Aiden Pearce. A high-flying hacker who will turn the American city upside down in search of the murderers of his loved ones. Using a smartphone, the character can literally turn the ultra-connected city to his advantage. Ubisoft+ Classics is included in PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium.
The Settlers: New Allies
The second Ubisoft game planned for the PS Plus Extra & Premium is The Settlers: New Allies. The latest real-time strategy game in a franchise that has existed since 1993 all the same. In this episode, you will be able to face real players or AI opponents by first opting for one of the three factions of the title. The Elari, the Maru and the Jorn. You will also have the choice between a narrative campaign in the world of Settlers, or a more challenging Hardcore mode with its challenges with difficulty adjusted accordingly.
