Enshrouded: Developing Fields and Constructing Rakes

In Enshrouded you can create fields to harvest plants, fruits and vegetables. If the ground is too uneven for this, you will also need a rake. Here we will show you how to create the fields and make the rake.

Create fields

Get these Farmer Emily Fray as part of the main mission and rescues them from the Builders' Crypt in Westcott. Place her in your base and take on the missions with her. This also unlocks many recipes at the same time, including the seedbed and the farm soil.

You will need it to create the fields seedlings. The seedlings are not only flowers but can also be vegetables and fruits. You plant these from the basic ingredients in the seedbed. Therefore, first build a seedbed with the following ingredients:

Wood logs (you get from cutting down trees) Metal scrap (you get from opponents) Farm soil (you grow from the farmer's wife)

The farm soil is rich soil, which has to fill the seedbed. To make ten pieces of farm soil you need soil and bone meal. You can mine the earth with the pickaxe from the ground. You get the bone meal from the alchemist's grindstone. Each bone gives you two pieces of bone meal.

Once you have the raised bed, you can place it. Now click on it and the more ingredients and plants you have found, the more recipes will be unlocked. In the first (Leuchtenstein) and second play area (Wasteland) you can go around twenty recipes unlock. Just find the following ingredients in the meadows and forests:

For some plants you need additional ingredients such as bone meal, water, farm soil or fossil bone dust. The seedlings will grow after few minutes crafted and can be picked up there and placed in your inventory.

Now it's finally time to start working on the farm and planting the fields. Recreate the farm soil and put it in the backpack along with your construction hammer. You can do that You can only create fields via the construction menu.

Press the Tab key and go to Terrain category. Here you now have to select the farm soil on the right. Since most shapes are impractical, you should take the box shape (4m) and place it on the floor. You can place a total of ten such fields with farm soil production.

Then leave the construction menu and get the seedlings in the action bar. You can now insert these into the farm soil and within a day the flowers come to life and can be harvested. Due to the water shortage in Enshrouded, you need it for further growth no water more.

However, you don't necessarily have to create fields to harvest the plants. You can also plant any seedling in regular soil and it will grow without any problems. With this variant you wait around two to three daysuntil the plant is ready.

Make a rake

If you have chosen an uneven surface and are having problems building and planting, you can also use the rake Level the ground. However, you don't need them to create the fields directly.

A notice: Due to a bug, the rake has disappeared from the workbench crafting menu. This problem should have been fixed in the last two patches, but it still occurs in places.

For the rake you need logs, yarn and stones. These are all basic ingredients that you collect over the course of the game anyway. You can also make a rubble rake at the blacksmith. This one is slightly better than the first. It is important that you are involved in the production the normal rake in the backpack have, as this is the prerequisite.

Then equip the rake in the action bar and you can level the ground with every mouse click and thereby remove annoying hills. Afterwards, new fields can be cultivated wonderfully.
