One of the best series of the last ten years has arrived in Prime Video releases for the week of March 25 to 31, 2024. A very nice addition for subscribers.

Land of Bad with Liam and Luke Hemsworth, as well as Once Upon a Man. George Clooney's latest production which recounts the victory of the University of Washington men's rowing team during the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. It will be available in a few hours, but subscribers can already jump on the one of the very big releases of this month.

A nugget from the world of TV series on Prime Video

A link with the cult film by the Coen brothers? Yes, the TV show is based on the work of the two directors released in 1996. The original cast is no longer there, but showrunner Noah Hawley (the future Alien Disney+ series) knew how to surround himself very well. Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Bob Odenkirk, Kirsten Dunst, Ewan McGregor, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Juno Temple, Jon Hamm and Jennifer Jason Leigh have followed one another over the seasons now available on Prime Video. And each time, we are treated to a close-up of different characters.

For season 1, Noah Hawley tells us about the meeting between a hitman and a not-so-happy insurance salesman. “Newly arrived in a small Minnesota town, a drifter named Lorne Malvo influences the population with his wickedness and violence, including Lester Nygaard, an exploited insurance salesman” official synopsis (via Prime Video).

Fargo to watch on Amazon's SVOD platform

Seasons 1 to 4 of Fargo can be watched on Amazon Prime Video. On the other hand, for season 5, it is imperative to go to Canal+ Ciné Series or Canal+. It requires you to pay again, but obviously, it's still worth the detour if you're really in a hurry. The writing and even the inventiveness of these new episodes have been praised. Beyond the name, the Fargo series is sometimes closely linked to the 1996 film, especially for the first season. Noah Hawley also does not hesitate to slip in homages and references to address fans of the cult film. But also to show his respect for this feature film. If you don't know what to watch next, you now have something to (re)discover via Prime Video.
