Dev Home 0.13 with new Windows Customization menu and more

Microsoft has released a new update for Dev Home. In version 0.13 the menu was reorganized. Under Windows customization you will now find the settings for the file explorer and the link to the Windows developer settings.

Some accessibility improvements have been made. The voice output has been improved in some ways, the size of the widget can be selected in scan mode and more.

The other changes include:

  • Environments are now available in Dev Home and provide the ability to create, manage, and configure Hyper-V VMs and Microsoft Dev Boxes.
  • Files ending in *.winget can now enable configuration file expiration in machine configuration.
  • The navigation element for the extension page is now in the navigation footer.
  • When cloning via the Machine Configuration Tool, Dev Home can now detect configuration files in the repository.
  • Small widgets no longer display graphs.
  • The Add Widget dialog now takes Windows theme changes into account.
  • The scroll bars no longer overlap the page content.
  • Dev Home should no longer crash when attempting to add a repository at certain screen resolutions.
