Note: This Haunting Case has a variant called Trade Disagreements, which appears if you have chosen to spare Pennington. In this case, the roles will reverse between Nathaniel and Bathsheba without much narrative change.
Head south into Fort Jericho to find a vandalized store sign. Enter the store to speak to a certain Nathaniel. After your discussion, go up the stairs behind you and search the room. Start with the book on the table then remove the spectral web covering a chest very close to the bedroom door.

Following your findings, go down to the basement and enter Bathsheba's room and look at the account book before listening to the echo hidden behind the crates to break in the corner of the room. Once all this is done, leave the shop and the Fort and head southwest until you find an abandoned cart. Then follow the wheel tracks on the paths following Antea's directions, cross a cave and come out on the other side.
Walk forward to the insidious ivy. Climb to the heights to open the heart and aim for the two wisps in the same place. Cross the log to find the last one on the other side and go back down to continue. After a while, Antea will point out an area in which you have noticed traces of blood from a recent fight against wolves. Reveal the echo of these traces of blood via a Listening Song ritual then immediately confront the wolves that come your way.
Following the fight, enter the den and retrieve the key behind the stalagmites at the bottom of the cave. Leave the lair in the direction of Fort Jericho using the nearby shelter, then once there, return to the mine that you have already visited in the main quest by taking the elevator located behind Pennington's office (be sure to take the big elevator on the left to return to the mine furnaces).
Here, eliminate a few specters then head east where Antea is waiting for you. Then head towards a gallery to the southeast to find Bathsheba's hiding place who was up to some not very commendable things. Look at the documents on the tables then go to the next room where specters await you. Then, open the chest in the recess to the south before retracing your steps and reading the last document on a table in the previous room.

From there, you will have to leave the mine by the same path to come face to face with the ghost of Bathsheba. Also go to the store to find Nathaniel and the ghost of Bathsheba. The time to make your decision regarding this Haunting Case has come.
