When will there finally be solid information about the next “Call of Duty”? It appears that this could happen more quickly than previously thought.

It has been known for some time that this year too a new game in the popular shooter series “Call of Duty” will appear. But when will Activision Blizzard finally officially let the cat out of the bag. Dataminers have recently come across some interesting clues that suggest an announcement is coming soon.
When is the new Call of Duty coming?
How on the X account (formerly Twitter) of “COD Warfare all the news” As can be read, the data miners have several clues in the data from the latest update Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 found. Among other things, they came across the name “Cerberus” several times as well as images of the hellhound of the same name from Greek mythology.
According to previous rumors, “Cerberus” is the internal project title for the next “Call of Duty,” which is supposedly another offshoot of “Black Ops” acts.
Based on these findings, the data miners dug a little further. The next interesting find: There are some indications that “Cerberus” is still in progress the current season 3 of “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” is announced at an in-game event. Since this third season runs until the end of May, the reveal would therefore take place this month.
Certainty by June at the latest?
However, these are just hints and rumors. A statement or even confirmation from Activision Blizzard is still pending.
However, the traces do not seem to be entirely absurd. Fans of the shooter series should have certainty by June 9, 2024 at the latest. On this day takes place this year’s edition of the “Xbox Summer Showcase” instead, where the next “Call of Duty” should also be on the program.
