San Francisco – An exciting new gadget was announced for the mobile hit Pokémon GO during a “Pokémon presents” live stream. As early as 2016, the “Pokémon GO Plus” appeared, a small device that could help you play Pokémon GO without having to look at your cell phone all the time. Now a successor from developer Niantic has been presented. To ensure maximum confusion, the new device will be called “Pokémon GO Plus +” or “Pokémon GO Plus Plus” – confusion is inevitable. What can the “Pokemon GO Plus +” do? In short, with Pokémon GO Plus Plus you can play Pokémon GO without using your smartphone. You can automatically throw Poké Balls at wild Pokémon or rotate PokéStops to get items. You can also switch between Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Hyper Balls with just a push of a button.
Additionally, if you pair Pokémon GO Plus Plus with your Pokémon GO game, you’ll receive a special Special Research where you’ll encounter a Sleepyhead Snorlax. The device weighs around 50 grams, comes with a USB charging cable and also has a wrist strap.
When will Pokemon GO Plus Plus be released? You’ll have to wait a while until the gadget is officially released. The Pokémon GO Plus Plus will only be available in stores on July 21, 2023, to match the new “Pokémon Sleep” app. We’ve embedded Nintendo’s official introductory video right here below.
