The latest film from the now very extensive MonsterVerse celebrated its debut in cinemas in Germany on April 4, 2024. After the sensational Godzilla Minus One it was the second film with the iconic giant lizard in just a few months. The first preliminary reviews were already full of praise, on the website Rottentomatoes.com says Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (buy now €17.99 ) now even with a fan rating of 91 percent. The monster film is also a huge success at the box office. This is shown not least by the current figures.

Godzilla stomps toward the next milestone
Since its official theatrical release, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire more than $486 million taken worldwide. This is not only an impressive number in itself, but also brings the next big milestone within reach. According to current forecasts, the monster movie will be released sometime next week the magic mark of 500 million dollars crack, i.e. half a billion. But that's not all.
