Bandai Namco Entertainment and From Software will release “Shadow of the Erdtree,” an extensive expansion for “Elden Ring,” in just over two months. For many Game of the Year 2022 fans, this is a big event.

Since the publisher is fully aware of the high interest in the new content, it is also offering players an expensive one Collector's Edition at. At the price of 249.99 euros you can secure the large edition.
The Impaler is waiting for you in Elden Ring
If you consider that the “Shadow of the Erdtree” expansion only costs 39.99 euros individually, this is certainly a hefty surcharge. However, Bandai Namco also wants to offer “Elden Ring” fans a lot of added value.
In addition to the actual expansion, which is included in digital form, buyers of the Collector's Edition will also receive a digital soundtrack. However, two pieces of physical content will also be included in the overall package.
The “Holy Grail” of this Collector's Edition will be the 46 centimeter tall figure of Messmer the Impaler. This character was already very present in the gameplay trailer for “Shadow of the Erdtree”. It is also deeply rooted in the lore of the intermediate lands, as attentive players were able to experience in the main game of “Elden Ring”.

You can also look forward to an exclusive hardcover art book. Although this will only be included in English, you can look at From Software's wonderful creations on 40 pages, some of which will certainly give you nightmares again.
