Amazon has nailed it: the Prime series everyone is clamoring to watch

Amazon lands the next direct hit. With the Fallout series, the company has apparently not only managed to inspire fans of the game series. The first season is the current king of the German series streaming charts, leaving the competition from Netflix and Disney+ behind.

Fallout series conquers German streaming charts

Normally, film and series adaptations of well-known game brands are not blockbusters worth seeing, but Fallout seems to be the exception to the rule in this case. One IMDb rating of 8.7 points and 4.6 out of 5 possible stars on Amazon prove: The Fallout series is not just for die-hard fans of the games, but simply offers an extremely solid portion of entertainment.

Accordingly, it is hardly surprising that there are rumors that Amazon has already commissioned a second season.

What is the Fallout series about?

After one nuclear disaster The former USA lies in rubble and ashes. Hundreds of years after the incident, the wasteland is still contaminated by radiation and inhabited by dangerous creatures. Nevertheless, people have adapted to these new living conditions and are trying to make ends meet somehow.

The setting is strongly based on the game template, even if the producers seem to be taking a few narrative liberties. Within the series, we as viewers follow the fates of three different characters whose paths cross again and again and who could hardly be more different.
