Finally, Stellar Blade has a nice surprise in store with the addition of free content upon its launch on PS5. New features which include an option very popular with players.
This Friday, April 26, 2024 marks the official release of Stellar Blade on PS5. An exclusive that is in the green on Metacritic with a score of 82/10 for 114 tests. The reception of this new action game by HyungTae Kim (Blade and Soul) with his studio Shift Up is therefore warm. And the title risks attracting even more sympathy from players since the day one update already introduces new elements, including one highly anticipated.

Free content for the release of Stellar Blade
Adding free content to Stellar Blade was part of Shift Up's roadmap. But when the studio made this announcement, availability at launch had been ruled out. We must believe that the developers have had enough energy to modify their initial plans. Stellar Blade's day one update comes with New Game+ mode. A feature very appreciated by players which allows you to restart the game while keeping the equipment unlocked.
And Stellar Blade's NG+ is packed with new features. To help you tackle higher difficulties, Eve will have new levels for weapons, the Corporal and Beta cores as well as the Injector. Here are the changes you will see once you start a New Game Plus game.
- Weapon: 15 => 40
- Body core: 6 => 9
- Core Beta: 6 => 9
- Injector: 5 => 13

The NG+ available with a slew of additional costumes
The new features of Stellar Blade don't stop there since Eve also has the right to new skills. It will thus be possible to acquire 4 Beta skill techniques, 8 skills to improve Beta and spontaneous abilities, or even 5 new drone skills. PCs (skill points) will also be unlocked. Since the heroine's look is central, you can also modify the appearance with 34 additional outfits, including the Conceptual Uniform costume (visible above).
