Xbox Series X: Console presented in exclusive X-Men '97 design

Last month, Disney+ launched the animated series “Marvel '97.” Together with Microsoft, Disney designed an exclusive Xbox Series X console in the design of the series. At the same time, a controller collection for “Marvel '97” was presented.

In the past, Microsoft has repeatedly teamed up with selected partners and released Xbox Series X consoles in exclusive designs.

Just last month, for example, the Redmond company introduced an Xbox Series X legendary cartoon classic “SpongeBob” before. In the current case it's again about an animated series. This time Microsoft and Disney came together and presented us with an Xbox Series X in the design of “X-Men '97”.

With “X-Men '97” we are dealing with a series that debuted on Disney+ last month. As has often been the case in the past, you unfortunately cannot purchase the console in question in stores.

Microsoft starts new competition

Even though the community is happy about the new competition, criticism is raised once again. Several users criticize that, in their opinion, Microsoft is wasting a lot of potential in the designs of the Xbox Series X. Instead of just bringing individual consoles to the public through competitions, the community believes it would make more sense to make the new Xbox Series X designs accessible to a wide range of players.

Currently, the only way to personalize your console with official products is in the protective cases announced in summer 2023. With the two designs “Mineral Camo” and “Starfield” they fall available options however, manageable.

New variety of colors for the controllers
