Xavi: Goals for next season are to win trophies and play good football
Barcelona head coach Xavi shared his expectations for the upcoming football season.
“Everyone trains very well, intensely and at a good pace. The pre-season tour was very positive, it generated a lot of enthusiasm, I saw it yesterday at the presentation of Robert (Lewandowski). We are excited too. The goals this year are to win trophies and play good football. We want to make people happy, they deserve it,” Xavi said in an interview with the Spanish edition of Marca.
Recall that this summer, Barcelona made a number of major transfers. These included the purchase of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski (for €45m), French defender Jules Kunde (€50m + €10m in bonuses), as well as the transfer of Dane Andreas Christensen and Ivorian Frank Kessier as free agents.
