Stats to favor in Shadow Priest

Our hierarchy of secondary stats for a Raiding Shadow Priest takes into account the use of the talents listed at the top of this guide. The values change depending on your equipment as well as the content. Note that for a DPS, the item level is generally the most important since this determines the total intelligence, the strongest stat at this position.

Otherwise, Haste is the main stat
since it increases your casting speed and decreases your CD regeneration time as well as your GCD.

Item Level >> Haste > Mastery > Critical >= Versatility

Note that we recommend using software like Simcraft with RaidBots in order to test piece by piece, point by point, the DPS gain based on your equipment. If specializations have fairly clear differences between secondary stats, this is not always the case and each stuff is different. So your results will be more accurate by using a simulation tool to compare.

Enchantments for the Shadow Priest

Enchantments allow you to balance your stats (see above) and generally increase the effectiveness of your character. It is recommended to only add it to pieces that you plan to keep as little as possible. Also, be aware that it is possible to replace one enchantment with another, but you will lose the first one.

Consumables for the Shadow Priest in Dragonflight

In terms of consumables to use as a Shadow Priest in Raids, some of them depend on the level in which you progress in Raids. So, under normal circumstances, it is generally not necessary to use premium consumables. On the other hand, in Heroic and Mythic, you will need to use combat potions as often as possible as well as all the usual necessities.

For the Flask (Phial in English), the latter only lasts 30 minutes but can be accumulated twice (i.e. a total of 1 hour).

Best trinkets for Shadow Priest in raid

Jewelry being one of the most important pieces of equipment for your character, we recommend two of the best trinkets as well as two alternatives to them.

Shadow Priest, a good DPS in Raid on Dragonflight?

As of Dragonflight patch 10.2.6, the Shadow Priest is a good raid DPS.

The Shadow Priest is currently in good shape. Indeed, the set he collects offers him great power. It is therefore quite solid in terms of single-target DPS and AOE. Additionally, with good defensive CDs like Dispersion and the endurance buff via Power word: Robustness, its contribution to Raid is quite good. Indeed, we must not forget that he brings his sound to the group
infusion.

Therefore, the Shadow Priest is a good DPS during Dragonflight 10.2.6 in raid. For more information, we recommend checking out our list of the best Raid classes and specializations in Dragonflight.
