Microsoft has introduced a Wi-Fi password quick view feature in Windows 11. The Verge writes about it.
A couple of years ago, Apple introduced the ability to quickly view the Wi-Fi password in iOS. The same thing appeared in Android. However, Windows users have so far been forced to crawl into the wilds of the system to see the password for their own Wi-Fi.
After several decades, Windows 11 finally has a faster and more logical algorithm for viewing the Wi-Fi password. The innovation was found in the latest beta version of the OS. To see it, you need to open “Settings” → “Network and Internet” → Wi-Fi, select “Manage known networks”, click on the network you need and select “View network security key”. The system will display a password dialog box.
The feature will be available to everyone soon after the end of the beta, but you can install the Windows 11 beta and be among the first to try this feature.
