The new Fallout series is absolutely going through the roof at the moment. Even to second season of Amazon's mega-hit we have already received news. The eight episodes were created in close collaboration with developer Bethesda. The results on the gaming front are less encouraging, it appears Fallout 76 6 years ago and the last single player adventure through the wasteland will soon be celebrating its 10th anniversary. So what about a sequel?
What's next for Fallout?
The traditional studio Bethesda is known for well-thought-out single-player experiences. The developer made a name for himself early on with the Elder Scrolls series. The fifth part Skyrim is still considered by many fans to be the best role-playing game of all time. Since the release of Fallout 3 in 2008, the studio has also been responsible for another RPG series.

“That's a good question. A complicated question. Not specific to any of our games, but development time may vary for various reasons.”explained Emil Pagliarulo, Studio Design Director at Bethesda.

“At Starfield we spent a lot of time updating and developing the technology. We also took a short break to help with Fallout 76.” Pagliarulo is playing on that Catastrophic condition of Fallout 76 at launch at.
“At the end of the day, it all comes down to the most important resource of all – people. Like any development team, we have talented people who need time to do great things. So we can't do everything at once.” Describing people as the most important resource is more than cynical given the fact that the parent company Microsoft is once again using one announced massive job cuts.
That being said, Bethesda's response is pretty frustrating. Fallout 5 is not mentioned in a word and although Fallout 76 continues to receive updates, many fans finally want a full sequel. But what can we conclude from this statement for Fallout 5's release date?

When is Fallout 5 coming?
