What is the price of an Apple Music subscription in different countries? Where is the most profitable

Large companies have come to the conclusion that it is much more profitable not to sell their content one-time, but to provide access to it in the form of a subscription. And this approach is often more convenient for the user. But marketers make the cost of subscription different for different countries, because it is also important to take into account the purchasing power of users and the exchange rate of the national currency. And the price tag can vary significantly! With over 100 million songs, Apple Music is a great alternative to Spotify.

However, the Apple service is available only by subscription, and it is in Russia it is one of the cheapest subscriptions in the world. Is it possible to find an even cheaper option, and where in the world do they pay the most for music?

We compared the cost of an Apple Music subscription in different countries around the world. It turned out that the most expensive subscription is in Switzerland. There, for access to the service you will have to pay 13.9 Swiss francs, which is equivalent to 15.5 US dollars. And the lowest price for a subscription is not even in Russia, but in Turkey. For locals it will cost 19.99 Turkish lira, which is only about 70 cents!

Among the price leaders are such prosperous countries as the UK, Finland, USA, Norway, Sweden, Belgium and Germany. Their residents pay at least $10 for an Apple Music subscription, while in most countries the price tag is between $5 and $7. At the other end of the table is Russia with a price of 169 rubles ($1.8 at the current exchange rate), as well as Kazakhstan, Egypt, India and the already mentioned Turkey.

It is worth noting the wide variety of Apple Music tariff plans; their choice, when used in certain scenarios (family, student, voice commands), can lead to significant cost savings. Thus, a family subscription is available to 6 accounts at once, and the functions will be exactly the same as in an individual subscription. The voice tariff plan involves the use of Siri to control the service, but is deprived of the ability to be used on third-party devices, listen to lossless content and download audio.
