Warhammer: The Old World – Summary of Warhammer Skulls 2024 announcements

Last Thursday was the 2024 edition of Warhammer Skulls and the least we can say is that it was full of announcements.

The Warhammer license has seen numerous video game adaptations in recent years. Like every year, Games Workshop wanted to set aside one day for announcements relating to this area.   • Total War: Warhammer III reminded people of the existence of its latest DLC, tested hereand announced the arrival of its next free legendary hero: Karanak, who will join Khorne.
  • Vermintinde 2 Currently hosting a Warhammer Skulls related event and rewards. A major update improving the use of winds of magic has also been deployed. Finally, the developers are meeting on May 30 to discover the new mode in alpha PvP Game.
  • Blood Bowl 3 announced the next faction that will join the game in the next season. These are “necromantic horrors”, bringing together new monsters. The appointment is made for June 11, a date which will also mark the arrival of cross-play.
  • Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has revealed a preview of its next update, titled “Secrets of the Machine God” and scheduled for June 25, 2024.
  • Owlcat Games presented the first DLC from Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader (of which our test is always available). It's called “Void Shadows” and will offer 15 hours of gameplay new, as well as a new companion, all integrating directly into the main story. It will be released on August 8, 2024.
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2 revealed its multiplayer modes And opened its pre-orders. The game will be released on September 9, 2024 on PC (via Steam), PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series.
  • A few days after theannouncement of its offline modeWarhammer 40,000 Inquisitor – Martyr revealed the Hierophant, a new class that will be added to the game on October 17, 2024.
  • Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus will be entitled to a sequel, still developed by Bulwark Studio, based in Angoulême. No release date has been communicated, but we do know that the game will be released on PC (via Steam and theEpic Games Store), PlayStation 5 And Xbox Series.

On the occasion of the event, sales also take place on all platforms, in particular on Steam. Among the interesting promotions, let us note that of Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War : the game is completely free and will remain in your possession if you add it to your library before May 30 at 7:00 p.m.
