Image source: Screenshot GIGA Chapter 1: Secrets of the Navis Nobilite In the Chapter 1 quest “Secrets of the Navis Nobilite” your task is to recruit a navigator for your spaceship. To do this you have to locate the Navis Nobilite station on Eurac V. Once you have looked around there enough, collected all the goods and eliminated all the enemies, you can go to the laboratory in the north of the station before using the elevator. Here you will find a machine with the following containers: tissue bottle, data crypt connector, catalyst bottle, reagent bottle. Opposite there is also the so-called converter. Your task is now to fill all the containers with the appropriate utensils in order to finally produce elixirs. However, this puzzle is purely optional and does not have to be completed in order to successfully complete the mission. The Chapter 1 quest only requires you to recreate the control rod (right next to the converter). This rod is required to be able to operate the elevator at all. Solving the Eurac V puzzle To be on the safe side, create a save before filling the containers. In order to solve the puzzle in the Navis Nobilite station, all containers in the machine must be filled with an item. Since you can choose between different utensils, the experiment can quickly go wrong. If you try to make the elixir with the wrong items, the added materials will be lost and you will have to move on with empty pockets. If you use the right materials, you can even make two different elixirs. These materials must be placed in the following containers to create Adaptive Antidote (x6): Fill the transducer with psionic crystal to create crystal dust, then remove the dust. Tissue bottle: Mutated meat sample Data crypt connector: Data crypt H-41-OK Catalyst bottle: Biogel Reagent bottle: Crystal dust Once you have filled all the bottles, all interaction symbols disappear and you are given the opportunity to switch on the device. Do this to create six vials of Adaptive Antidote. The antidote grants immunity to poison damage and inflicts a -10 toughness penalty until the end of combat. These materials must be placed in the following containers to create Elixir of Warp Neutrality (x6): Fill the transducer with adamantium to create adamantine dust, then extract the dust. Tissue Bottle: Flesh Sample Data Crypt Connector: Data Crypt H-41-OH Catalyst Bottle: Unknown Acid Reagent Bottle: Adamant Dust Turn the device on and you will receive six Elixirs of Warp Neutrality. These grant immunity to warp damage and impose a -10 allegiance penalty on the user. However, you cannot cause warp damage yourself until the end of the fight.
