VR version GTA: San Andreas is being developed by LA Noire VR team

VR version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is coming to Oculus Quest 2

That reports UploadVR. The website says that the developer already announced last year that it was getting ready for a new project, “an AAA open world game in VR for Rockstar”. At that time, however, it was not yet known what the developer was talking about.

on LinkedIn however, the company seems to be giving clear hints this week: “As announced on Facebook Connect, we’re working on one of the most beloved games in VR.” Although San Andreas is not specifically mentioned, it is almost certain that this is the case, as the game was unveiled during Facebook Connect. It is not clear whether Video Games Deluxe is the sole developer of the game.

Last week it was announced that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is coming to Oculus Quest 2. “Get a new look at Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas and experience again or for the first time one of the most iconic open worlds.” It is not clear when the game will be released.

GTA: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition was also recently unveiled, coming digitally on November 11 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Physical versions of the game will be released on December 7. This includes new versions of GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas.
