VirtualBox 7.0.20 as new maintenance update

A new update to version 7.0.20 is available for download for VirtualBox. If you're surprised, you've jumped straight from 7.0.18 to 7.0.20. The update is a correction version, with no new features.

But maybe the error that was causing you trouble has been corrected. So here are the changes:

  • TPM: Fixed errors that were displayed in the Event Viewer for Windows guests
  • macOS hosts: Fixed passing USB devices to the VM
  • Audio: Fixes recording with HDA emulation after reboot of newer Windows 10 / 11 guests
  • USB: Fixed a deadlock in OHCI that was triggered when saving the current state of a VM or creating a snapshot
  • Linux Guest and Host: Initial support for OpenSuse 15.6 kernel and RHEL 9.5 kernel introduced
  • Guest Additions: Shared Clipboard: Fixed an issue where extra newlines were inserted when copying text between Win and X11
  • UEFI Secure Boot: New Microsoft certificates added to the list for new VMs
