One of the biggest news when Apple updated its systems in the spring of 2024 was that you could get the iPhone screen on your Mac computer and control everything directly from there, even if the phone was charging in another room. That function never came to Sweden, but the fact is that it already exists, provided you use a phone from Xiaomi. All you need is to download the correct app to your Mac computer.

Both In Appstore for iPhone and in Mac Appstore for Mac computers there is the Xiaomi Interconnectivity appand it's the key to the new services.

For all this to work, the latest version of Xiaomi's interface Hyper OS is required. It is Hyper OS 2 that is not only found in Xiaomi 14 and 15 ultra but has also been released for a long time in previous models from Xiaomi, such as the Xiaomi 14 series, then in the form of an update.

This feature thus launched Apple for iPhone in the spring of 2024, but it has not yet come to Sweden. Therefore, Xiaomi is before the very apple with this opportunity on Apple's own computers.

When this is the case, you can start the app on your Mac computer and then just select the feature called Home Screen Plus. There you can choose your phone and freely control it remotely.

You can use your computer's keyboard to enter directly into the phone's apps, but for example PIN code to log in you must write by clicking the screen numbers with the mouse. When you unlock and use the phone from your computer, it is also unlocked in practice, someone goes past your phone where it is charging they can peek.
