Double jump is a basic skill for EVE in Stellar Blade. In many ways, you might think that this exploration skill comes naturally, much like wall walking or long jumping. Except that this is not the case, the double jump is only obtained by following a secondary quest!

What is the purpose of double jumping in Stellar Blade?
Although double jumping is completely useless for combat in Stellar Blade, it is really interesting for exploring the semi-open world of the Wasteland and the Great Desert more easily..
By pressing twice while holding your directional button up, you will be able to reach certain heights more easily. While if you press twice 
while holding your directional key in any direction, you will be able to go a little further than usual, especially if you then press 
to use long jump.
As we told you at the start of the article, the double jump is not unlocked by following the main plot of Stellar Blade. Indeed, it is obtained by completing the secondary quest “Angel of Death”. Although it may not seem important at first glance, we advise you to complete this mission as quickly as possible.
It is obtained at the Xion Colony, just after your passage through the Levoire Plateau as part of the main quest “Glimmer of Hope”. The NPC who holds this quest can be found in the alley that leads to Roxanne, the trafficker.
On our part, it was above a store awning, but chances are it was just in front of the store itself.
By accepting the quest, you will have to meet looters located in the alley right next to your position. Unlike other quests where there is often a question of combat, this mission does not require any action on your part, other than enjoying the cutscene. Ultimately, you'll get a new exploration skill and experience points to unlock new skills or passives.
