Uncovering the Hidden Gems of Jamaica Plain in Fallout 4: Finding the World’s 2076 Baseball Bat

If you want to start this Fallout 4 side quest, you will logically have to go to the town of Jamaica Plain. If you've never been there before, just follow the map given to you below where it is indicated.

Once you arrive, you will have to head towards city hall. Once there, go upstairs and you will come across a Gunner corpse. By searching it, you will get your hands on the mayor's password and Sal's holotape that you will have to read using your Pip-Boy to start the quest “The Treasures of Jamaica Plain”.

Unlock the basement door of Jamaica Plain City Hall

Once this is done, you will have to collect three items to access the basement of the town hall. The first is the key to the archives. To find it, go to the house located north of your location. Upstairs, search the two bodies and you will come across them.

Then go east of the town to come across a new body, leaning against a stone barricade. Search it and this time you will have the key to the town hall. For the last item you are missing, go to the red building right next to where you are.

Search the corpse located near the entrance, on the ground floor and this time you will recover the mayor's identity card. You now have everything you need, so go back to Jamaica Plain City Hall and unlock the basement door.

Go to the left room, then right to deactivate the security system with the mayor's card. Then use the terminal and unlock access to the Jamaica Plain treasure room. Once it's done, you will be able to recover what is there.

Among the loot you will find is a unique weapon, the World 2076 baseball bat. The latter has the particularity of allowing you to to have a chance to throw your enemies every time you touch them with an attack.

If you don't play melee and this bat doesn't interest you that much, know that Moe in Diamond City is interested in taking it back from you. If you have a little persuasion, you can increase the price to 300 Caps.
