This is how you can find free games in the Steam shop
Steam is a real paradise for bargain hunters. There are hundreds of games on offer every day – sometimes some of them are even given away for a short time. The problem: Such promotions are often only valid for a few days and are not always actively advertised by Steam on the homepage. In other words: Anyone who doesn't find out about the campaign by chance will come away empty-handed.

But that doesn't have to be the case. Because with just a few clicks in the Steam shop you can see directly whether there is one new giveaway campaign gives. To do this, you proceed as follows:
Opens the game search in the Steam Store. Now activate the checkbox under “Limit by price” in the filter options on the right in the category “Special Offers”.Finally, pull the price controller up to the left as far as it will go “For free”.
That's it already! So that you really see all offers, you should make sure that you use the filters to search not limited to a specific language. In the overview you will now find a list of all the games and DLCs that are available for free as part of a discount campaign. Now all you have to do is click on the individual products and add them to your game library.
