In addition to selected characters, these also show first scenes from the sometimes impressive cities. In addition to the gameplay presented, the TV report mentioned various interesting details about “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2”.

Developers promise numerous gameplay improvements

First of all, the editors point out in the report that the development of the successor is in the final phase. Therefore, nothing should stand in the way of the planned release this year.

As the developers also reveal, we can look forward to seeing all the important game mechanics of the first part again. Here, Warhorse Studios attached great importance to ensuring that all mechanics were put to the test and further improved or refined.

Further details about the gameplay improvements and innovations will be provided in due course. But the developers not only take great care in the playful implementation of the role-playing game.

The game world should be implemented historically correctly

In addition, the studio pointed out that in “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” they want to implement the game world in a historically accurate manner. Some of the historic buildings were mapped and then converted into 3D models. An example of the precision shown is the sound of the church bells. This corresponds 1:1 to the sound of the real counterpart.

Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios have not yet given “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” a specific release date. Instead, it was only announced that the sequel would be released for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2024.

Among other things, five hours of cutscenes are promised, telling us the dramatic story of Heinrich. The realistic approach of the combat system is once again part of the game.
