Indie game lovers should mark April 10th: the newly founded Triple-I Initiative is planning its first showcase.

AAA, i.e. Triple-A – this usually means blockbuster games: big brands, big budgets, big studios. Derived from this marks the new creation iii (i.e. Triple-I) therefore productions by small, young, in any case independent indie teams. More than 30 such studios and publishers have now joined forces under The Triple-I Initiative and have announced a joint showcase for April 10th.

The initiators promise a series of announcements and innovations for this 45-minute live stream – with a clear 'no-nonsense' claim. In other words: the games and their creators should be the focus – no sponsors, no advertising, no moderators. The format obviously wants to very consciously set itself apart from the feudal shows of the Canadian Geoff Keighley, who moderates and produces The Game Awards, the Summer Game Fest and Gamescom: Opening Night Live.

The first Triple-I Initiative Showcase will take place via, among other things YouTube, Twitch and Steam transfer. Date: Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 7 p.m.

With the Wiesbaden publisher Assemble Entertainment and its studio Gentlymad Studios (End zone 2), a games company from German-speaking countries is also involved.
