Trevor actor talks about discontinued agent DLC

According to leaks, Rockstar is said to have actually planned single-player DLCs for “GTA 5”. In a stream, Trevor actor Steven Ogg spoke about discontinued content with his character.

The development studio became Rockstar in September 2022 Victim of a hack, in which a lot of data about games could be stolen. This included, among other things, early information about the upcoming one “Grand Theft Auto 6”.

However, other sensitive data was also stolen through the hack. This resulted in the end of 2023 Source code from “GTA 5” on the Internet. The files also contained information about planned DLC for the game, which had been rumored for years. Now the voice actor Steven Ogg spoke up about content that he was already actively working on.

Discontinued DLC was supposedly supposed to feature Trevor as an agent

According to the information from the Rockstar leak, “Agent Trevor” was supposed to be one of three planned episodes released for the single-player mode of “Grand Theft Auto 5.” Another DLC should be about a zombie apocalypse similar to the “Red Dead Redemption” expansion “Undead Nightmare”. The third content was supposedly about an alien invasion.

The three main actors of the single player mode of “GTA 5”, Ned Luke as Michael, Shawn Fonteno as Franklin and Steven Ogg as Trevor, recently held a Q&A livestream. For around an hour they talked about the fifth part of the “GTA” series and answered questions from viewers. Steven Ogg reported on a DLC for his character Trevor, but it never saw the light of day.

Trevor should try his hand at being a secret agent

“Trevor should be undercover – he works for the feds,” Ogg stated during the Q&A stream. “And we shot some of these scenes with James Bond Trevor. He's still kind of a loser, but he does his best to pretend [ein Geheimagent]. We shot a few things and then it just disappeared and [Rockstar] never did it, they never followed up on it.”

Ned Luke, who played the character Michael in the game, responded to Steven Ogg's statements that the content of the DLC was probably included in the online mode “GTA Online”. According to the leaked documents, internal disputes led to the discontinuation of the DLCs.
