25 year old Russian striker Yakov Trenin received a new contract with the Nashville Predators through NHL arbitration. This is reported by the press service of the “predators” on the official website of the club.
Trenin received a two-year contract worth a total of $3.4 million ($1.7 million per season). Yakov asked for a one-year contract for $2.4 million, and the club initially gave a two-year agreement with an annual salary of $1.35 million.
