Top Spin 2K25: the single-player game crashes because of the servers and angers players | Xbox

Available since April 26, the return of TopSpin 2K25 does not seem to be a real success, and is already causing strong reactions from players. If the title seems to benefit from certain qualities, it is unfortunately undermined by its servers and the obligation for players to be connected to enjoy a large part of the game.

A mandatory connection, even for career mode

For the second evening in a row, most of Top Spin 2K25 is in fact inaccessible due to connection problems, pushing 2K to speak out again last night and for the second time in two days.

We are aware that some players are experiencing difficulty connecting to online modes in some 2K games. We are investigating and will update the community soon.

Obviously, these technical problems do not go unnoticed by players since they impact not only the multiplayer, but also, and above all, the career mode of Top Spin 2K25 which is simply inaccessible if you are not connected to the game's servers.

After years of waiting, the return of the franchise therefore has a bitter taste for those who simply want to enjoy a good single-player tennis game. Worse still, this already raises questions about the future of the title and when its servers will shut down.
