The Iniu power bank has been rated 4.6 out of 5 stars on average by almost 20,000 customers and, according to the manufacturer, has 20,000 mAh, which means you can fully charge an iPhone or Android smartphone several times. However, the product page states – and we can confirm this after our practical test – that power banks can only use 60-70% of the capacity for charging, as 30-40% of the capacity is lost in heat and voltage conversion in the circuit. So you can't fully charge the iPhone 13 with a battery capacity of 3,240 mAh six times, as would be mathematically possible, but only four times. Nevertheless, we can say that in practice, when charging iPhones, tablets, headphones or the Nintendo Switch, we have not yet reached the point where the capacity of the power bank would not have been sufficient for our needs.

We tested the Iniu B5 power bank in everyday life

The Iniu power bank is equipped with a quick-charge technology that can charge a normal smartphone to more than 50% in just 30 minutes. The iPad Pro is at over 30% after half an hour. If you use the charging device, it will take longer to fully charge, but that's logical. If the power bank is empty, it will take several hours to fully charge again. With a normal power adapter, it took us about nine hours, but there are faster chargers.

With the Iniu B5 you can charge three devices at the same time. It has a USB-C input/output – this is also used to charge the power bank – and two USB-A outputs. A USB-A to USB-C charging cable is included in the delivery. A practical fabric case is included in which you can store several charging cables in addition to the power bank. In practice, we have a lightning cable in the case in addition to the standard cable and can use it to charge a variety of devices.

We like the workmanship of the power bank. The 365 gram gadget feels pleasantly smooth and has a charge level indicator in percent. There is also a small LED lamp built in that is activated by pressing the charge level indicator button twice and shines amazingly brightly.

The Iniu B5 power bank passed our everyday test with flying colors. It is of high quality and charges up to three USB devices reliably and quickly. The capacity of 20,000 mAh has always been more than sufficient for us in practice. It does take quite a long time to fully charge the power bank, but that is of course mainly due to the high capacity. Since we only have to charge it every few weeks, this is not a problem.
