Free games are always fun! The Japanese publisher Bandai Namco is visibly feeling in a generous mood these last few days and has decided to celebrate spring and treat us at the same time with three small productions that are completely free to collect on the Steam platform. These titles are actually part of “the 2023 new employee training project”, which is led by Bandai Bamco in collaboration with the Japanese publisher Phoenixx. To be more precise, the three titles are developed by Gyaar Studio, an “indie” games label within Bandai Namco made up of new recruits. It is therefore an opportunity to explore the potential of these new talents who join the house. The idea, according to the publisher, is as follows: to allow new people at Gyaar to gain experience by submitting these three short ideas to the public in order to best prepare them for the company's larger projects. . Last year, a previous batch of games was only available in Japan, so it's fortunate that this one is finally available to us. Three completely different experiences are available to us this week on Steam. In the batch of proposed projects, there is first NOTTOLOT, which is a robot hacking action game. The principle is as follows: you must use wisely the ability of the main character, Rolly, to hack enemy robots to escape from a factory where you risk death. You will therefore have to approach the enemy discreetly from behind, attack him, hack him, then control him as you wish. In a much cuter spirit this time, there is DORONKO WANKO, a game in which you will have the absolutely incredible chance to play as an adorable little Pomeranian and make your master's house totally dirty. Fortunately, since you're still way too cute, no one will really blame you. The concept may fit on a post-it, but it still has the merit of being relatively original. As a doggie, you will therefore have to roll around in the mud spread all over the ground, then splash everything you can. The goal is to make a mess and find “hidden glitches” in the house, so as to unblock the door to the “room of good smells”. Finally, BOOMEROAD is an action-adventure game that promises great sensations since players can slide on rails generated by a boomerang that you launch yourself. Here again we are dealing with a rather unique concept and it is probably my favorite of the lot.
