Don't get clock to work with Telenor
Question: I have been trying to connect my daughter's Christmas present (Apple Watch) to Telenor's network at Christmas. I followed the instructions that are in their app but went bite. You should take some action and then get a confirmation SMS to verify as a user. That mess will never.
After the Christmas holidays I call Telenor where they say I should do the same thing I have already done with expected results … When the support gives up, they send me to the nearest store where everything will work out.
I go there and the same thing takes place again and the store staff gives up. They refer to technical support but they do not work weekends so it will be to wait until the next weekend -free everyday life.
I call Telenor, tell you about my case and have to do the same again until customer service gives up and “creates a case”!
Now I thought it would solve! A few weeks later I get a text message where they ask me to do what so far not worked but who knows, it might work if you do it more often?
I try and mess back that it did not produce results. Then it will take a few days until I get a new suggestion on what to do.
This is how it is doing one to two messes a week on suggestions or chances of what could be a solution.
Consistently, Telenor refuses to let me talk to the technicians with the motivation that it is difficult for them to call !!! But sending SMS they can do anyway!
Where can I turn to make the mobile connection work (everything else works including WiFi)? Do I need to change the operator for it to work?
Can I turn to any authority to make it work?
Erik Mörner answers: That reminds me of when I tried to get a subscription to my watch with just Telenor 2021. They seem to have continued problems. There were error messages, temporary maintenance “try in a week again” and about ten contradictory conversations with waiting time to customer service for just over a month, as well as several visits to the stores for things they could not do by phone. After about a month and a half we finally got it to work, but their system to handle this seems seriously substandard still.
Which service and services companies offer, after all, do not directly have control over the authorities, so if you do not work, I would advise to change the operator.
